Location very good if travelling by car. In residential area, on outskirts of Aix. Free parking outside (no need to pay 8 euro charge for the indoor parking). 2 minute walk to bus stop - bus to La Rotonde (centre, access to Place Mirabeau) 1 euro. Would recommend on this basis. Outdoor pool & table tennis table.
Decor pretty shabby. Arrived at 5pm with 2 rooms booked: one room ready - other not available until 7pm.

The room was very clean with all facilities good. Bath & shower. The staff were quite good and polite. There was everything we needed. Room was well equipped. Breakfast lovely with nice staff. Location good - only one euro on bus to town centre. Receptionist put us in room straight away before actual check in time which helped a lot as my daughter had singing audition and needed to rest.
When we arrived after v early start it was very hot and we were tired and sticky. I am disabled and cant walk far. There was a big clear sign saying Hotel Citadine on top of building.. However, we could not find the entrance which was far away from where we got off bus nr a huge public building.Directional signs would be very helpful! With arrows maybe? All gates locked and unwelcoming! Eventually we were told to walk right round which we had done once and could not find entry. Frustrating - could be easily solved with good directional signs!!. The beds were uncomfortable and not like the picture of a twin bedded room. It is a bed settee with a pull out bed underneath which was too heavy for us to move. Bedding clean. Pillows very flat and only one per bed. Not a comfy night! I booked a twin room and we got a studio which was wrong as I am disabled and cant move furniture neither can my daughter.

Had everything we needed for a pleasant trip to Aix. Clean, helpful staff, spacious with an outside balcony. Close to city on the frequent bus service cost 1 euro.
Bit of broken glass in the car park was of concern security wise but we had booked an under ground car park so we had no problems.

We stayed overnight after long trip down autoroute. Great to dip into pool before driving into Aix for supper. Hotel a bit dated/run down but apartment well equipped. Useful to have separate sleeping for teen age daughter. Location odd, in modern suburb. Yellow hotel location signs very useful to fing the place, situated all around Aix. Ok for overnight.

Cheap but clean and secure. Nice pool to swim in. Easy drive into town. Apartments well provided for with kitchen equipment, iron etc.
Unfortunately the in-room wifi was not working. Parking was also rather badly organised with no marked bays, thus inefficient parking by early arrivals left no space for late arrivals.

The mini kitchen was very convenient and functioned perfectly. The room was small but had a nice little terrace to hang out on. The major downside to this hotel is there is no air conditioning so we had to leave the door to the patio open and traffic noise outside was a bit annoying. If you go here, go when the weather is a bit cooler. The last note, the beds are pull out couches and not very comfy. Parking and access to the hotel were super easy.

Convenient location within few minutes of Aix centre. Staff were pleasant. Apartment facilities were fine. If we go back to Aix would certainly consider staying again.

The price was good and the room was clean.
I paid for parking and there was no need as the hotel is located in a quiet part of Aix-en-Provence and the surface carpark was adequate - the website could advise this.

I enjoyed the swimming pool and the area outside to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The kichenette is very practical. The secure parking area of your car was an asset.

Good parking and handy location to bus routes for convenient transfer to city centre for just €1.00 each way and apart from there being no air conditioning, the room facilities were very good overall. We also liked the security arrangements. These were very effective and easy to use for guests. The swimming pool was certainly appreciated and well maintained in its surroundings.
Lack of air conditioning as a standard room facility, nor was there even a fan. We felt the room could have done with a 'real' clean not just a once over between guests as the state of the floor gave obvious evidence to.
